The CCYO Concerto Competition was first held on 11 January 2020 at Christ Church in La Plata, Maryland.
The 2025 Concerto Competition will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Christ Church in
La Plata, Maryland at 3 PM.
The first-place winner will perform a solo with the CCYO at the January 2026 concert. The first-place winner receives $200, and the second-place winner receives $100, and both receive additional solo performance opportunities.
Applications are due May 20th. This competition is open only to current CCYO members, which includes all CCYO groups (Prelude Strings, Encore Strings, Encore Band, and the Orchestra). The public is encouraged and invited to attend this exciting event!
